Membership Structure

A collective Force for Progress

The membership structure of SWC is designed to foster inclusive engagement and shared commitment to the organization’s vision and mission. SWC welcomes a diverse range of members under three distinct categories:

  • Ordinary Members :
Are individuals aged 18 years and above who are aligned with SWC’s vision, values, and goals. These members form the backbone of the organization, contributing actively to its growth and development.
  • Honorary Members :
Are individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of SWC’s mission. They are recognized for their dedication, influence, or exceptional service and are invited to hold this status as a mark of appreciation and respect.
  • Institutional Members :
This include organizations that share common objectives with SWC. These institutions partner with SWC in various ways to promote mutual goals and expand the organization’s impact.

All members whether individual or institutional enjoy specific rights within the organization. These include the right to participate in decision-making processes, access programs and services offered by SWC, and cast votes during General Meetings, thereby playing an essential role in guiding the direction of the organization.

Alongside these rights come important responsibilities. Members are expected to uphold the Constitution of SWC, remain in good standing by paying their membership dues, and actively promote and support the organization’s objectives in their respective capacities. Through this balanced structure of rights and responsibilities, SWC ensures a vibrant, accountable, and values-driven community of members.
